Sustaining life for today’s generations – and tomorrow’s

Empowering Sustainable Futures

The 1992 Earth Summit highlighted the decline in the Earth’s resources and its impact on humanity, and these resources have continued to decline relentlessly despite worthy aspirations, the huge efforts of organisations and individuals, and vast expense.
The Life Map Foundation has been developed so that we can sustain life for today’s generations – and tomorrow’s by overcoming this failure, globally.

What we do

The Life Map Foundation is dedicated to giving Earth and humanity a reasonable chance of reaching 2050 in reasonable condition by providing core information about the disparate resources and features that sustain life for the sectors of society responsible managing these features within different nations.

Founded on the frustration that most of this information is locked in well-intentioned silos, The Life Map Foundation works to help make information accessible, understandable, and usable to bridge the gaps within and between organisations and stakeholders.  By developing metrics in a consistent format at various scales, we enable stakeholders and communities to work together in addressing the Environment, Industry, Services, and Humanities – individually and holistically, to sustain life.
The Life Map Foundation has designed The Life Map to help all of us manage change through the democratisation of data, calibration of performance, acceleration of knowledge exchange, and aggregation of activity by using a sequence of global zones and global communities.

How Our Work Sets Us Apart

Holistic Solutions

We recognise that each policy, objective, and action has a counter-effect that needs acknowledging and accounting for so that change can be effectively managed.  We have created The Life Circle to connect the issues that sustain life and The Life Map to present this strategy globally, for national responsibility across global zones, and for action within global communities within each zone.

Funding

Money is precious and this format enables metrics to be created once and used multiple times with cumulative benefit.

Collaborative approach

We recognise the knowledge and skills of the myriad of subject matter experts involved with the different components that sustain life and, rather than competing, we work relentlessly with them to help get their experience in a format so we can all benefit.

Digital Integrity

We recognise that any data used in building knowledge needs to explainable and auditable so that it can be trusted as a basis for making decisions.

What People Say

I became involved with The Life Map Foundation to help prevent humanity from destroying the keys features we need to survive as 30 years of great aspirations had emphatically failed to halt or even slow this destruction.

Edward (Cambridge)

In this increasingly digital world there’s an ever increasing need to ensure data can be validated and encouraging that The Life Map has this embedded from the outset

Markus (London)

The Life Map Foundation’s approach to humanity focused on how we must work together rather than what drives us apart gives us all hope.

Maria (Gaberones)

Within organisations it is often difficult to balance the functions of different departments, it is a real positive that so much work has gone into how to recognise and manage this constant state of flux.

Errol (Cardiff)

The initiatives led by The Life Map Foundation are both inspiring and impactful. I feel empowered to contribute to a better future through their guidance.
